Georgia Mountain Fall Festival accepts Lovey the Clown with Open Arms

Hey friends! I would like to share some of my favorite memories from the North Georgia Fall Festival, a 10 day festival in Hiawassee, Georgia! Miss Polly, Ole Ken Cole and Marilyn from Hendersonville, N.C. and their home made ice cream across the way! My sweet kindred spirit, Stella, who dances like Lovey. My #1 fan, Ashlyn, who cheered Lovey on all week and wants to be a clown someday. Percy Sledge and the Tams! Helping Neal get over his fear of clowns! The sound of people laughing with you is addictive in such a positive way. Dressing dads in skirts and having them play with their kids while the mamarotzi laughed and took pictures! My beautiful cottage overlooking Lake Chatuge, this will forever be my home away from home! Happy, Teresa and Em coming to spend some time. NoJoe's Clown Circus giving Lovey the chance to perform like a real clown should! Thank you Georgia Mountain Fair for your warmth, kindness and generosity. Last week goes down as one of my many, many cherished clown experiences. Hopefully, I will see you down the road friends.

Lovey had such a fantastic day face painting all her friends at Hamilton Mill's Fall Festival. The best part was Lovey and another friend barely recognized each other because of all the weight they each have lost. Woo Hoo! Jennifer is so amazing at organizing all the wonderful events for the community. Lovey is so fortunate to be included to so many wonderful days. The animals were cool. The weather was awesome. The apple spin thing was so much fun. I can't believe the patience that parents have when waiting to have their children's faces painted. It is very humbling to be painting away and have sweet children come by to make sure Lovey remembers them from last time. Lovey's friend, Hamp always comes up with such silly, original ideas. I will be looking forward to some of the home school activities where we can try out Theater Fun and put on an incredible show! Thanks a million to all of Hamilton Mill for including Lovey and Magic Ladder Entertainment at your community events, birthday parties and holiday celebrations.

Suwanee Book Fest and Magic Ladder Entertainment

Magic Ladder Entertainment will be at Suwanee Book Fest on Sat 29th at 10:00 a.m. to promote Discovery Toys. Discovery Toys has the most wonderful books and puppets that can't be found anywhere else. Please come by the booth that we will be assisting our friend, Sue Kepel with.

World Laughter Tour

Don't miss this excellent opportunity to join Magic Ladder Entertainment in our mission to help heal the world through laughter. Magic Ladder Entertainment will be hosting the World Laughter Tour workshop on November 4th and 5th at the Holiday Inn Express Atlanta. The World Laughter Tour workshops are designed to teach us how to teach others how to reduce stress and illness through the science of laughter. Once we complete the workshop we will be Certified Laughter Leaders! How fun is that. Magic Ladder has so many plans to incorporate these skills into the services that we offer to our clients. Magic Ladder Entertainment and Discovery Toys

Have you heard of Discovery Toys? Lovey the Clown was at an event at Gold's Gym in Dacula. There was this fabulous lady there named Sue Keppel who was displaying her Discovery Toys. Sue is known as the Toy Lady! Lovey could not pay attention all day long because of the attraction of these toys. She thought and thought, "I must tell everyone I know about these toys!" They are beautiful. All the children were drawn to them like magnets as well. Lovey introduced herself to the Toy Lady and asked if she could be a Toy Lady, too? Within a week, Sue taught Lovey the Clown how to be a toy lady! Now, Lovey is an educational consultant for Discovery Toys. Magic Ladder Entertainment and Carvel Grand Opening

Magic Ladder Entertainment entertained at the Carvel Ice Cream in Buford for a spectacular Grand Opening. The day was especially wonderful because Lovey the Clown had her best friend Twinklz right by her side! As always, the two wowed the crowds with face painting and twisting a mermaid or two! and thank to Mr. Lovey (Tom Long) who supervised the Foam Party. Thank you to our fans of Buford and surrounding areas for coming out to support Marie and her family at the Carvel Ice Cream at the corner of Buford Highway and Hamilton Mill Road. It is always so much fun to see old friends at these events and to meet new, enthusastic families. Levi and Christopher Lovey hopes to see you at every single event.

Lovey the Clown 1st place in Ballooniversity Balloon Competition!

Hey friends,

This is my lesson in perserverence. Did anyone know that I cried the first time a took a balloon workshop. A little over a year ago I was what I fondly refer to as a "lurker"! I would go to balloon jams and watch everyone in amazement, but would never consider participating. I was toooo self-conscience and embarrassed! Also, the entire time growing up, if something was not easy for me... I would pretend I hated it and would not continue! Well, tonight, after being a closet balloon twister for over a year, I entered a balloon competition, a very low-key, fun, no pressure one, but won 1st place nevertheless. I just thought I would test my creativity and see what happened. I had a blast. The staff and teachers at Burton and Burton are phenomenal and the decorators that attended this workshop were so down to earth and fun! I had the greatest day ever! Oh and I won a twist n flate balloon pump! Yippee for me.

A few of Lovey the Clown's Favorite Things! Birthday Parties in Dacula Georgia

Every single time I question this Family Entertainment thing and wonder to myself, "Why do you do it, Lovey?" I have a spectacular day like today that restores me and reminds me of my purpose! There is a Mission and a purpose behind the madness of this most honorable profession called Family Entertainment.In spite of the Georgia heat. And the fear (sometimes) that maybe you didn't make a difference, that you are not good enough. The fact that you allow Lovey to enter your homes, lives and be a part of your most cherished memories is a bit overwhelming at times. There are the Angels that God sends, like Madison and Erin, to restore my faith in clowning, family entertainment and people! The parents that we have the opportunity to meet who love their children soooo much that they would buy princess balloons as tall as a park pavilion and cook hot dogs in the 92 degree heat, even if the clown wasn't so impressive that day. But, you love your children and that is what inspires me! Then there are the Angel parents who set up fans on either side of Lovey during the magic show to keep her comfy so she can play with their children and make their sweet Erin feel special. Thank God for the hugs and the little ones out there who remember Lovey and Lovey remembers from one event to the other. The Amaya's who remember (In June), the cat Lovey painted on them at the neighborhood Fall Festival last year! The e-mails from the mom's who are encouraging enough to tell Lovey, "the children have talked about Lovey all year!" and think enough of Lovey to book her three months in advance. The company's out there that are booking Lovey and Fan E. and friends for Christmas already! You are the reason that we do what we do. You are the Magic, not us! When our flames are fizzling, you fan them! I am so overwhelmed with gratitude for this life that you have helped me to create. Thank you for embracing Lovey and Magic Ladder Entertainment. Oh, and how can I forget to mention, the Dacula Memorial Day Parade...Emma, when you remembered that Lovey had been at your year-end party for Ms. Heimrich's class, that made Lovey's day! and when Ms. Crook and her girls were yelling, "Hey look, It's Lovey." You made me feel famous. I sincerely hope that I encourage everyone that I meet as much as you all encourage me to continue. I love each of you more than I could ever show you in a magic show, or by painting your little faces.

Lovey and Lanier Diner of Gainesville have a blast on Family Night Thursdays

Lovey and Magic Ladder Entertainment thoroughly enjoy Family Nights at Lanier Diner each Thursday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Last Thursday we made sand art right there in the back of the restaurant. Athena, Martha (Lovey loves you both so much), Brouck (I found the book with the face you wanted!) and Oxiana (you know how special you are to Lovey, sorry if I mispelled your names, please correct me next week,ok) made beautiful sand creations. Tamaja, thanks for hanging with Lovey. I enjoyed sharing dinner with you! You hold a special place in Lovey's heart, girlie. We will do a special celebration in honor of your sweet cousins, life, I promise. Thank you all for the laughs. You are my special angels. Please, if you can think of anything that you would love to do at the Diner, to make family night more special, let Lovey know. We will try to make it happen. Lovey is going to do her entire magic show there soon. My dear friends of Hamilton Mill! Thank you so much for allowing Lovey and Magic Ladder Entertainment to participate in your Saint Patrick's Day Festival. Lovey is 100% Irish and enjoyed celebrating that with each one of you more than you know. Magic Ladder's President, Leslie Long has worked in the Dacula area for the past thirteen years and loves the people and children of Hamilton Mill and Dacula! When Magic Ladder Entertainment began, one goal was for Lovey the Clown to entertain friends and loved ones in Hamilton Mill! and in 2009 that dream came true. Thanks Del and HOA Committee. The fact that the people of Hamilton Mill have embraced Lovey the way that she has embraced all of you, is a bit overwhelming and a blessing that she will never, ever take for granted. Haw Creek Elementary Schooler's win Spirit Night Contest at Backyard Burger with Magic Ladder Entertainment and Lovey the Clown

Hey Friends! Ms. Arant's class of Haw Creek Elementary in Cumming, Georgia Splash into Reading with Lovey the Clown's Magic Show on Wednesday, March 17th, Saint Patrick's Day. All the Haw Creek children were dressed in green, as was Lovey the Clown, in honor of the Irish Holiday, St Patrick's Day. Ms. Arant's third grade class won a magic show for winning the Backyard Burger Spirit Night Attendance Contest created by Cumming's Backyard Burger and Magic Ladder Entertainment. All of the children seemed to have a blast learning the magic word "precipitation"! Thank you all for your "participation"! in Lovey the Clown's Splash into Reading magic, clown show!

Lovey the Clown hopes Chancelor's 1st birthday was as special to you all as it was to Lovey the Clown and Magic Ladder Entertainment. Lovey the Clown meant what she said about your staff raising the elite of our future. Those Angels are so smart and apparently full of love and light. Magic Ladder Entertainment can't wait to send Lovey the Clown back to Joshua's Learning Center in Forest Park, GA again in April. Sandersville, GA and Lovey the Clown

Hey Sandersville! Thank you all some much for your warm, and energetic welcome on Tuesday, March 16th. Lovey the Clown met a new friend, Makayla, who helped set up the show and tear it down and assisted with balloons at the end! When I drove up to the Rosa Tarbutton Memorial Library, there stood a little angel, Makayla (Kay Kay) and her Auntie Gwen waiting to help the clown! What a smart, elegant, young lady! So worth all the effort Lovey the Clown put into creating the Library show. The video I tried to take left so much to be desired. But, the audio, of the children's laughter, will remain in Lovey's heart forever and ever!

Spring has Sprung for Magic Ladder and Lovey the Clown

January and February were quite dormant. Like the sowing of the seed. And this week, Lovey the Clown worked enough for the entire month of Jan. and Feb. Thursday nights at Lanier Diner are awesome. Backyard Burger Spirit nights are quite busy for Lovey and Fan E. Tastic the Clown, during the dormant months of clowning. This week reminded me that worrying about things is a waste of time and energy!
